Deluxe Landscaping and Garden Centre has been in the heart of gardens in Sechelt for more than 20 years. Key requirements for the position are:

-A strong leader who works well with a team

-Retail and sales experience

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Customer Service focused

-Comfortable using computers and spreadsheets

-Good attendance and reliability

-Able to quickly pick up skills and understand tasks

-Looking for full-time, fulfilling work

-Work on-site at our garden centre in Sechelt

-Willing to learn how to run a bobcat and load bulk materials

-Legally able to work in Canada

-Flexible availability to work 5 days per week (morning, afternoon, statutory holidays, weekends April through June no exceptions). We are open seven days a week.

-Physically fit in order to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, and bend for up to 8 hours daily

Your key responsibilities would be to support the Store Manager with daily duties, open/close the store, operate the point-of-sale system, assist customers and answer their queries, merchandise products, assist with receiving products and inventory, and guide the sales team as directed by the Manager. Experience in a leadership position would be great, but we are happy to train the right person for the job. Existing plant care knowledge is an asset. This position has lots of variety and is a good opportunity to grow a career!
