PODS will be an innovative new marine and freshwater research and education facility located at Irvines Landing, Pender Harbour. The PODS mission is to inspire, engage and empower all our visitors, students and academic researchers with the wonders of the coastal waters of our region, and to demonstrate by example that scientifically-driven decision making is essential to finding viable solutions to the most pressing environmental challenges of our time. PODS is a project of the Loon Foundation.
